We had a modern, clean room with a balcony, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. The price felt more than fair, especially with free access to Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein included. The family was very nice. Keep it up! 👍

The owner was so helpful, with recommendations for hikes, restaurants, and events. I was wowed when I first saw the apartment. The room was quiet and very well kept, and the staff stayed friendly throughout our visit after a warm welcome. The bright conservatory made a lovely breakfast room, and there was a room for drying ski boots. With admission to the thermal baths and the Gastein Card included, the room rate was excellent. We'd definitely stay again!

The thermal baths are included in the room price, and you can go more than once a day. With the ski bus, town center and baths all easy to reach on foot, the location works well, and the price feels fair for what’s included. We’d happily return next year. We feel very welcome here, and the atmosphere is friendly. We found the guesthouse very clean and thoughtfully organized. You leave your shoes by the entrance, so there’s no mud or grit carried into the halls and rooms. The furnishings are modern and cared for, and there are clearly marked rubbish collection points along the corridors. The room didn’t have any unpleasant food smells, and there’s a separate bin for hygiene waste in the bathroom. The bedding is cotton, not plastic. Breakfast in the bright conservatory is a lovely start to the day, whatever the weather, and there’s much more choice than we normally have at home. For us as allergy sufferers, the no-pets rule is a big plus, as is the no-smoking policy. There’s also a private lockable ski shed, parking in front of the house, Wi-Fi and a clothes rack in the room. The house isn’t soundproofed, as earlier reviews have mentioned. Housekeeping starts at 8 a.m.; if you’d like to sleep longer or head out later, just let them know and they’ll respect that. Breakfast hours do limit how late you can leave. We don’t mind bringing our own hand soap and similar items. We also don’t expect a 3-star guesthouse, which is genuinely excellent, to offer the same service as a 5-star hotel. Some things may be different from what you’re used to, but we find those arrangements helpful rather than a reason to leave a poor rating.
