The room was spacious enough, though the bathroom was small. It also smelled when we first went in. I’d requested a quiet room, but we got one facing a busy road, and I wouldn’t want to stay here longer than a night. The restaurant serves lots of filling traditional Austrian dishes in big portions. After a whole day in the car, I was hoping for something lighter and a smaller serving. We didn’t try the wellness area, but what I could see from the corridor didn’t look very nice. For cycling or walking, the location is handy, with a route along the river just across the road and a golf course nearby. We only stayed overnight.

We called from the car at 10 PM to book, and they didn’t ask for a credit card or lots of details. When we arrived at 1 AM, the key had been left for us outside in a hidden spot. It was great service, with trust and an easy, stress-free booking when we were stuck in traffic. Many thanks!

The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a nice selection, and it started early enough for the first ski run. We spent three days and two nights here for a long ski weekend. The hotel is a little way from the two small towns, though there isn’t much going on there anyway. It’s well maintained, and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are small, with a separate toilet. The spa has a finish sauna, steam bath, and IR sauna. There’s also a restaurant for dinner. A good three star hotel for a decent price.

We had a great view of the Austrian mountains, and both the hotel and restaurant were great. The people were friendly, and the food was really good.
