B&B HOTEL St. Pölten

I needed an iron, so I emailed the staff. The hotel doesn’t normally provide one, but they were incredibly kind and brought in a personal iron from home for me. I was so pleased with the experience.

The door codes can be handy, especially if you need to check in when nobody is working, but I think the staff may not know when guests are checking out. A cleaner came into my room twice this morning, first early while I was still in bed, then again later while I was working on my computer. The bathroom ventilation also runs all the time and can be heard through the closed door. It wasn’t very loud, but it could bother light sleepers. Both mornings I stayed, some very loud noises woke me up, like a big cart being moved. It was probably the cleaners at work, but it definitely woke me. Not nice.

The room was small but comfortable, with good plumbing, a clean bathroom and enough room for our things. There were plenty of shelves and hangers, plus free internet and TV. We were happy with the stay, and there’s everything you need nearby. The station is about a ten-minute walk away. Good value for the price.

We stayed one night over Christmas and got a good rest after a long drive through heavy holiday traffic. The hotel was fantastic and new, and our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Thanks so much! 🙏
