The slightly dated decor didn't bother us at all. Everything was really clean, and the man at reception was very friendly. It suited us well since we're more interested in the experience than the details. If you want a simple, clean, friendly place with a cute breakfast, this one's for you.

We had a three-bed room with comfortable beds, and the breakfast was nice. On weekdays they serve it from 6.30. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A towel rail and hair dryer would be useful additions to the room. For a few days in St. Pölten, it's a reasonably priced option.

The single room was tiny, smaller than my bathroom at home, and with its small window it felt quite dark. The bathroom looked really old and disgusting. There are trains right below the window, so it was noisy. Outside, the place looks pretty good, but the inside was hard to describe. The whole guesthouse smelled of cigarette smoke because staff smoked in the dining room without opening the windows.

The bathroom looked a bit disgusting, though I guess the place is okay for the price if you're not staying long. The rooms have a more or less modern design, but some things, like the doors, are broken.
