We'd happily stay here for a few nights again. The house is comfortable and very well cared for, and the rooms are clean and pleasant. From the warm welcome at reception, we felt at home. Everything was just right from beginning to end :-)

We ended up glad to spend the night with a friendly, open host elsewhere. We had arranged an overnight stay at Pension Blaiken as part of our holiday and asked about breakfast because my wife is vegan. We made clear we knew the choice was very limited, just rolls and jam. Even so, they kept urging us to cancel because they were afraid of getting a bad review. That kind of assumption in advance shocked us. It didn't feel like hospitality at all, and we'd never had an experience like it.

The breakfast was really good and pleasantly surprised us, and the service was great. We were even allowed to use the garage for our motorcycle. It's a very good guesthouse and one I can only recommend. We'd gladly come back!
