The ski bus stops right outside, and there are plenty of options for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing nearby. Rohrmoos has shops close by, while Schladming is about 7 km away. The two-apartment accommodation is new, very well kept, and set away from the crowds. The host family were really friendly.

We liked the apartment so much that this was our second stay, and we’d happily recommend it. The friendly landlords provide bread rolls, milk, and yogurt, and the Schladming Dachstein Card comes with the accommodation, with lots of discounts. It’s also in a fantastic spot for a holiday.

Schladming and the nearby attractions are only a few minutes away by car, even though the farm feels tucked away in a peaceful, idyllic setting. Everything was beautifully kept, the apartments were spotless, and we didn’t lack for anything. The entire Reiter family made us feel at home, with fresh milk and yogurt, bread delivered, and helpful tips whenever we needed them. We’d come back anytime. Thank you!

We really appreciated the fresh milk and tasty yogurt, along with the daily bread delivery. Mrs. Reiter and her family made us feel so welcome with their warm Styrian hospitality. After busy days, the bright, clean Hochwurzen apartment was an easy place to relax. It had plenty of storage and everything we needed, and we especially loved sitting on the balcony and looking toward the mountains, including the Dachstein massif 🥰 👍🏻
