The food was fine, but the owner’s attitude ruined the meal for us. We ordered soup and a main course each, yet the owner came over unpleasantly to ask why we hadn’t ordered drinks and said people were waiting downstairs. It left us feeling rushed and pressured, when choosing whether to order beverages should be up to us as paying guests. We’d eaten here the day before, had dinner and drinks without any issue. We’re happy to spend money and support a business, so being treated this way felt insulting. We won’t be coming back.

We planned to take one of the two great pizzas away, but the wine was so good that we stayed all afternoon and grazed. A fantastic afternoon. I’d heartily recommend it to visitors to Schladming.

The serving staff were very kind and the food was solid, though prices are high. The host and hostess at the entrance, however, were so rude and unfriendly that they made us feel like low life. For a family dinner costing 40€ or more per person, there are plenty of places in Schladming where you’ll be treated with respect. Avoid this one.

After a nice evening of apré ski, my partner and I went for dinner at this place, which is advertised all over the ski resort. At the door, they told us there were no seats, even though we could see three or four tables available. They were very rude. I wouldn’t recommend it.
