Hus23

The apartments at Hus23 in Schröcken made a perfect base for our ski holiday in Warth & Schröcken. We were eight people in Top 4 and Top 5, and Top 4 looked out over the Schröcken valley. The location is very good, and the whole experience felt perfect. Everything is beautiful, new, and finished to a high standard. The rooms are spacious, neat, and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and clean, tidy bathrooms. The shower is roomy, with very hot water and plenty of pressure. There are two bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and all the usual utensils. There’s a large flat screen TV in both the bedroom and living room. The apartments feel carefully thought through, right down to the details. You can enter through the main door or through the ski room. In there, you can hang your boots on a heated wall and put skis or a snowboard on the wall rack. There are slippers to use, so you don’t have to walk through the apartment in dirty shoes or socks. There’s also a fridge with drinks. Just write down what you take on a form, and it gets added to your accommodation cost. The sauna is in the basement and has a great view outside. There are two types, one at 65 degrees and one at 85 degrees, plus infrared chairs with a foot bath and enough loungers to relax afterward. They recommend lying outside in the snow after your sauna. The ski bus stops in front of Hus23, and it’s seven minutes to Salober for the ski lift. For the valley descent, take route 255 to valley descent 310. At the bottom of Schröcken, you arrive under the Church at a small outdoor bar where you can have a drink, then take the bus one stop up to Hus23. Don’t take route 309 down, as you have to walk a bit at the beginning of that route. Our highlights were the price-quality, location, facilities, atmosphere, and overall experience.
