We spent a week here for Snowbombing, and the view from our room was brilliant. Breakfast had plenty of food and options, and everyone from the managers to the cleaners was amazing and friendly. Victoria was especially helpful and lovely. Five stars all the way.

I booked a stay here for my birthday so I could celebrate in the mountains, but the way the staff treated me was the worst communication experience of my life. They first offered us a room that matched the booking description. Then the owner took the keys from my hands and suddenly moved us to a dreadful room: old repairs, a moldy smell, and a window facing the neighboring wall. Nothing like it appears in the hotel photos. When we asked to go back to the first room, they yelled at us. I felt humiliated and was brought to tears on my birthday. If you don't want terrible conditions for an insane price, I wouldn't stay here.

The pool was warm, and the spa was very pleasant. We had a spacious, modern room with three beds and a nice mountain view, and the staff were friendly. The ski bus leaves from the hotel entrance every 15 minutes and takes five minutes to reach the nearest cable car in Mayrhofen. Mayrhofen also has very good restaurants just a short drive away. The parking lot is huge, so finding a spot wasn't a problem.

Think Faulty Towers, but in a good way. The hotel has plenty of quirks, and the staff, especially Rainer & Tamara, were friendly and accommodating. It's well placed for getting to the local ski areas. We drove each day, though the ski bus is handy too. Just don't expect five-star or even four-star rooms and facilities, and you won't be disappointed.
