Hof Neuhaus

We’ve stayed at Neuhaus farm near Mayrhofen in the Zillertal valley twice, first as a group of four and most recently as a couple, and were very satisfied both times. The hosts are friendly, and the big garden with fruit trees gives you plenty of room to relax. Our apartment was spotless, well equipped, and had a fully furnished kitchen and a lovely bathroom with a large shower. In the Burgstall district, the farm makes a good base for hiking, via ferrata climbing, and cycling, with many tours nearby. The holiday apartments come in different sizes and are comfortably and beautifully furnished. We highly recommend the accommodation and this lovely part of the Zillertal valley for a great holiday.

The small apartment on the ground floor was all new and brighter than I’d feared. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the garden and courtyard are lovely places to relax. Just keep in mind that the Schwendberg hill blocks the afternoon sun.

Guests appreciate the peaceful, well-kept setting of Neuhaus farm in Burgstall, where the same family has now run the farm for five generations. Hospitality, customs, and traditions are still valued here, in keeping with the example set by their ancestors. It’s one of the oldest hereditary farms in the upper Zillertal valley. Tyrolean historical records once called it "Steiner's Estate," and the farm’s first appearance in historical books dates back to 1775.

We always enjoy coming back. The apartment feels comfortable, it’s very clean, and the hostess is so friendly.
