Hotel Royal X

The beach itself was a bright spot, with comfortable loungers, a nice view, water sports equipment to choose from, and a restaurant and bar open during the day. Hotel and beach staff were friendly, parking was free, and breakfast was decent, though only served from 7.30 to 9.30. The room was a disaster: cramped, narrow, and about 10m2, with no carpet. There was a terrible smell from the plastic window blinds, a bit like human sweat, and it lingered even with the windows open. There are no elevators, so carrying luggage to the second floor is a hassle. The reception closes after 19.30, and if you arrive later at night you may need time to work out where your room is. The area around the hotel is quite dark at night. It reminded me more of a school sports camp, which might suit 15-year-olds.

We rented a boat and, oh, these tourists, didn't make it back before the Gewitter came up. The hotel's speed boat came out, and the boss himself towed us safely back to the harbor. A kind group of staff were waiting there with warm bathrobes. That was such thoughtful, kind service. Thank you again! We learned our lesson too: turn back early when dark clouds come over the mountain tops.

I went with my school last July for a creative arts trip, and it was fantastic. The location is beautiful, there are great activities on the lake, and the accommodation was comfortable. The pool was great too, and it was easy to find your way around the site. The food was mostly alright, though I would've liked more choice. I'd definitely recommend it. :)

It was a fun experience, and the rooms were nice. We didn't have a refrigerator, though, and the Wi-Fi was bad.
