Rene and Nienke made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, with a drink and a chat in their beautiful garden. We really enjoyed our stay, and they shared lots of helpful ideas for things to do and places to eat nearby.

The breakfast was a highlight for us, especially since René would have fresh bread and eggs ready whenever we needed them. We left very early for skiing, and he still had everything prepared. René & Nienke are such open-hearted hosts, often greeting guests with a cold beer and a smile. My brother, who lives nearby, had recommended Pension Karlsdorfer Hof, though even after hearing how lovely it was, I hadn't expected it to feel this welcoming. We had a blast and will definitely return when we're back in Carinthia. They really know how to host. Thank you, René & Nienke!

We arrived as strangers and left feeling we'd made new friends. Long conversations with our hosts made the stay memorable, and Nienke and René are genuinely hospitable. They're a Dutch couple who settled in Austria and have run the place for four years. It's a quiet B&B outside the town centre, easy to find, with plenty of parking. Our room was clean, comfortable, and roomy enough, with the things we needed, including a safe, hair-dryer, and toiletries. The beds were comfortable, and our room was warm enough for a January night. Breakfast had spreads, cheeses, ham and salami, different breads, good coffee, and eggs made to order. I had the best bacon ever. We stayed just one night, but I'd recommend it if you're looking for accommodation around Spittal / Milstätter See.

We spent three days here with friends and had a great time. René and Nienke were kind and cheerful from our first arrival, and we had lots of good conversations. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, and I especially recommend René's delicious eggs. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed. Thanks for such a good stay, René and Nienke. ❤️👍

We were just passing through and stayed one night, with no regrets. The beds and amenities were fine, as were the breakfast and the view. The welcome was so warm, and the owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Even though service was late, they made food at night and served drinks, doing everything they could to make us comfortable. Highly recommended for families too.
