The owner was very friendly, and the location is ideal. It’s really spacious too. The furniture looks like it’s from the 70s or 80s, but it’s comfortable.

We spent many holidays with the Birkl family, and everything was always great and well maintained. It had become a second home to us. Sadly, our health means we can’t travel anymore, though we’d still love to be guests at the Birkl’s.

It’s a typical Austrian house, and the owner is kind and welcoming. The location is fantastic if you like peace and quiet, while still being not far from the center. The furnishings feel dated and really need updating. In particular, the sofa bed in the six-bed apartment is an older model and extremely uncomfortable.

The welcome from a lovely lady was wonderful, and the scenery was superb. Everything was top-notch, it was all perfect.

We’ve been coming for years and think it’s fantastic. It’s clean, everyone is friendly, and it sits right by the edge of the forest. Highly recommended!
