Landhaus Almidyll

A lovely complex with six apartments in the same building in Seefeld Nord. The slopes and cross-country trails start roughly 1.5 km away. There's a bus service, but having your own car is the best option.

The accommodation was excellent, really excellent. The owners were respectful, helpful, and pleasant, and the city is one of Austria's best.

The apartment was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the host was very friendly and made us feel at home. We spent four days here and had a fantastic time. They even offered us a sauna experience, plus a day pass to the ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad Leutasch spa from May to October, which was a nice bonus. The location is handy for hiking, too. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

What made this review for me was the host, signora Therese. Beyond the beautiful surroundings and houses, it's people who make a difference and add the little things that make a holiday better, calmer, and more complete. From our booking emails, Therese was very helpful with every question. When we arrived, she welcomed us and gave us maps, brochures, bus times, and suggestions for lovely places to visit, including ideas for our six-year-old son. Throughout our ten days, she was always reachable on WhatsApp, whether we had a question about the washing machine or wanted to know about the area's most typical restaurants. Her house reflects the care she puts into her work. She's an experienced host, kind but never intrusive, and somehow both out of sight and always there. We stayed in August in the smallest apartment, which I chose since there were just three of us. It was on the second floor and truly lacked nothing. Every detail had been thought through to make the stay comfortable and pleasant. The shared garden for guests at her apartments welcomed us every day with its beautiful colours. The many children's games were much appreciated, and I also loved its little hill full of trees. Landhaus Almidyll is in a very quiet spot, just a ten-minute walk from the center, the station, supermarkets, and places to stroll. Even though it was beside the train tracks, well, even the train was quiet :-)! We also really appreciated getting free entry to the pool in the neighbouring town for four hours every day. It's good for children, and you can get there by bus, which is free with the guest card. We went three times. Thank you, Landhaus Almidyll. I hope I can come back in winter with the snow and fall in love with it all over again :-)
