Waldhotel Seefeld

We really felt like part of an extended family here. On a couple of occasions the owners went out of their way to help, including making sure we didn’t overpay for a taxi back to the airport. The breakfast and dinner choices were varied and very tasty, and there was a decent children’s menu every day. The bar and lounge were very comfortable, with a lovely Christmas atmosphere. Our family of five had a large, very clean and comfortable room with panoramic views and a wraparound balcony. It was cleaned daily, the beds were great, and the large bath had piping hot water with strong pressure. It suited our family perfectly. The family-run hotel is about 150 metres from the ski lift and ski rental, and Seefeld’s lovely little town is a 15-minute walk away. Whether you’re skiing or not, you could enjoy the hotel and the town. Highly recommended.

There was no AC, the beds were uncomfortable, and the customer service was terrible. The Google photos were completely misleading and nothing like what we actually got. It felt like a furnace with beds, not a hotel. Multiple people in our group got bedbugs, and there was a pee stain on the blanket. Avoid at all costs.

I went with family and friends, and the place was dirty and unsanitary. The sheets were dirty and there were bugs everywhere. Our entire group got bedbugs too. Service was terrible, we couldn’t find anyone at the front desk, and the whole experience was a mess.

Bedbugs were in 5 of the 11 rooms we booked, and there were spiders and tiny bugs everywhere. We were afraid to sleep in case more bugs flew in. None of the rooms had AC, and the heaters weren’t working in any of them. Staff were rude and unhelpful about the situation. The receptionist shut the front desk right at closing time while we were discussing how they could fix things. The food was horrible, with none of the fruits or vegetables they said they had. There were only 3-4 food choices, plus water and bland coffee. Worst hotel in Switzerland.
