Pension Reiter-Moravec

The pension is clean, well kept, and functional, with a good location, free parking right in front, and easy directions to find it. Our room was in good shape and had everything we needed. The big balcony looked straight toward the Attersee, and it took about a five-minute walk to reach the lake. Buchberg, where the accommodation is, is also near Attersee am Attersee, where you can catch a roundtrip boat around the lake, about 5 minutes away by car. The internet worked very well, with no lag or dropouts. Breakfast was average but fresh and tasty: bread and rolls, ham, salami, cheese, vegetables, yogurt, and fruit mix. I would have liked hot options such as scrambled eggs or sausage. The shower hose was really short, though manageable.

The staff were always kind, friendly, and helpful, and spoke German and English. This is a family-run pension with a personal touch, and the modern rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is an eastern standard, with eggs available to order the way you like. There’s a terrace with a great lake view, plus a small playground in the garden. Just note that the family apartman doesn’t have a lake view.

We had a nice continental breakfast on the balcony. The owners were friendly, and the room was nice, with a kitchenette and a large bathroom.

We really enjoyed this lovely place in a peaceful area. Andrea was a thoughtful, very helpful host.
