Haus Bellevue

The larger apartment's kitchen and bathroom were quite dated, and we had a short circuit at the electrical outlet for the oven and dishwasher, which felt a bit dangerous. Our two-person apartment, though, was lovely and had a balcony facing the mountains. Pension Bellevue is handy for getting around Serfaus, with the lifts and town centre about a five-minute walk away. Breakfast is served at the nearby Vaya resort: a nice buffet, though nothing special. The apartments vary in how modern they are. I'd stay again, with a few reservations.

For a resort where prices are otherwise high, the half-board rate is reasonable and the apartments give you decent space, despite some wear. Meals are across the road at Vaya St Zeno Hotel; the food can be hit or miss, but the overall deal is good. It's a bit of a walk to the village centre and lifts, though manageable, and you can leave your skis and other gear in a depot by the lifts.

We'd come back, yes! The staff at the Vaya resort, which runs the haus, were incredibly friendly and did a great job. Bellevue's rooms are simple and clean, with very comfortable beds. The ski lifts are a seven-minute walk away, and they have lockers near the ski station for your gear. Breakfast at Vaya was very good; dinner was basic but decent. My only small complaint is that the vegetarian meals could use more vegetables and a bit more imagination. Serfaus is a great ski area for a family trip or one with friends. Big thanks again to the staff!
