Rieserhof

We had such a comfortable week in the little holiday cottage. It’s lovingly put together and really cozy, with lots of natural wood and some tasteful modern lighting. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the valley view is lovely. It’s a great base for an active holiday for two. The landlords were very nice.

The kids were thrilled, whether they were helping in the hayloft or feeding and petting the calves. Their bright eyes said it all. During the day we skied, and in the evening we visited the barn, where Robert gave us a lovely glimpse into the daily routine of a dairy farm. You realize how much effort goes into producing milk, and appreciate that splash in your coffee even more. Silvia and Robert welcomed us so warmly at the Oberrieserhof, and after a week packed with good memories we left feeling sad. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

For us, this is paradise, and leaving always makes us sad. We’ve been coming here for years, first for a week and now for three. The Webhofer family is truly special. The apartment has everything we need and a great view, plus a big terrace with a parasol. There’s a playground and a large trampoline in the garden. Since they have cows, there’s fresh milk every day, and the lady also bakes bread. A well-stocked Spar is two kilometers away. There are lovely walks nearby, and you can also take the ski lifts.

The setting is wonderfully quiet, with a stunning view, and we felt completely at home. The hosts are incredibly friendly and happy to let you help in the barn and hayloft. They know their stuff when it comes to farm life and animal care, and the cows are well looked after and given high-quality feed. Animal welfare clearly matters here. The apartment was spotless, tidy, tastefully and modernly furnished, and had all the latest technology. There was plenty of room for two adults and two children, with a sandbox, play equipment and a swing set for the little ones. A great place to unwind.
