Sölden is lovely for skiing and summer hiking, but I wouldn’t recommend this company. Reception hours are limited, so if anything goes wrong with the apartment, you may have to wait for them to open. We agreed to arrive between 18:00 and 19:00, yet the receptionist called while we were skiing to ask us to come earlier. There were a lot of problems in the apartment: no soundproofing, so loud neighbours kept me awake for two nights; worn pillows; heating that barely worked; and no hand soap. The filter coffee machine had no paper filters, and if you plan to cook, bring your own oil. I didn’t feel at home there at all.

Eddy and I had loads of fun during our six nights here. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment!

For the price, the stay was reasonable, and there’s a lovely view from the balcony. The house is handy for the bus, and you can reach piste 7a with a short walk. Inside, we liked the large shared space with its corner bench and big table for meals or games, and the kitchen has a dishwasher. There’s also a walk-in shower in the sauna room. A few details got in the way. The Wi-Fi code had to be requested, and the connection was very slow at 3000 kb/s. The ski room smelled awful in the morning, wasn’t ventilated and didn’t have enough room for everyone’s boots. In the sauna area there were only two loungers and one chair for a four-person sauna, and no clock. The room soap dispenser was empty. We also found no potholders or pasta colander in the kitchen, and several bulbs were out, including in the fridge, bedroom and living room. The 10% spa voucher has to be requested in advance, and phone contact could be difficult. It would help to have an information folder with the Wi-Fi key, ski bus times and details on getting the discount. Thermal baths are coming.

This apartment sits high up in Solden, so having a car would suit you. There’s plenty of space, a very well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and wonderful views from both balconies. A shower curtain would be useful, and anyone staying longer than three days will want more than one towel per guest. There is a sauna, though we didn’t try it.
