We had a wonderful winter sports holiday here. The slopes are just a two-minute walk away, and there’s a place in the hallway to store and dry ski gear. The host is friendly and always available if you have questions. The apartment belongs to Romed Gruner and is on the ground floor at the back of his sister's B&B. It's spacious and very clean, with generous bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. All the rooms open onto the terrace, which looks out over the village of Sölden. His sister can arrange fresh bread rolls every day, delivered early in the morning.

It's a very spacious, neat, and clean apartment, with a roomy ski storage area. The bedrooms have recently been renovated and the box-spring beds are very comfortable. One bathroom has also been updated. The kitchen and other two bathrooms are a little dated, though everything is there and works well. I suspect those areas will be renovated too. The location is a real plus: the slopes are about 100 meters away, and you can ski straight to the Gaislachkoglbahn lift base station. At the end of the afternoon, you can avoid the difficult last few hundred meters of the valley run and stop right at the apartment. The après-ski bar 'Finale' and the Zentrum Shuttle are both a two-minute walk away, with the shuttle taking you right to the heart of the village street. Romed was very helpful, and Apart Emil upstairs offers daily bread delivery. I'd highly recommend the place.
