The summer card is a great deal: from the day after you arrive, it covers all the lifts and buses for the whole day. Our room looked new, was very tidy, and perfectly clean. Breakfast was a fresh open buffet with a good range of food. The receptionist and all the other staff were stellar. We highly recommend this amazing hotel.

Hotel Birkenhof was a great base for our ski holiday in Sölden. It’s close to the Giggijoch gondola, the center of Sölden, and lots of restaurants. Breakfast was a buffet with a big variety, and the staff were kind and friendly. Our room was clean and tidy. Absolutely recommended, and we’ll definitely come back next time we visit Sölden.

The breakfast is included in the price, with bacon and egg alongside the usual continental options. The breakfast lady was extremely friendly, with a lovely smile and uniform. The receptionist was friendly too and spoke excellent English. Rooms are large and clean. Macro's bar is just across the road, and we found it a perfect spot for an all day session. I’d happily stay here in ski season or summer.

The people are friendly, and breakfast has plenty of choice and is good. The hotel itself is good too. The exception is the restaurant downstairs, see my review of the restaurant below.

This was our second stay, and if we decide to ski in Sölden again, we’ll choose the same place. Breakfast was great, with everything you could want in the morning and a special variety of teas.
