What keeps bringing me back is the welcome from Family Moser. They’re the nicest, friendliest hosts I’ve had, and I’ll definitely return. I’ve spent two long weekends at Alpengasthof Moser so far. It’s a quiet, relaxing spot with hiking and cycling routes nearby and stunning Alpine views all around. The rooms are cosy and very clean, the beds comfortable, and the view lovely. Breakfast has a good spread of cold cuts, cheese, muesli, egg dishes, and fruit. Dinner tastes homemade, and the Backhendl is the best.

The food was excellent, and our first contact with the hosts was great. Mosers sits among the woods, yet it’s close to everything. We had a wonderful time there.

Those breakfasts could turn a good morning into a great one. The home-cooked meals from Oma brought back memories of all those childhood holidays with my grandma, too. The family were always friendly and helpful, and the rooms stayed clean, warm, and nicely equipped. They also serve beer from a local brewery in Murau. It’s my favourite place to stay on ski trips.

The meals, from breakfast through dinner, were delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Rooms were comfortable and impeccably clean. Alpengasthof Moser is in a picturesque Alpine spot near Murau and the Kreischberg ski slopes, run by a lovely family who were exceptionally kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

The waiter was really friendly, and dinner was very good. The restaurant is high up in the mountains, so you need a 4x4 in your car to get there. I’d recommend stopping by if you want to try Austrian Backhendl.
