The price feels a little high for what's provided, so I'd give it four stars. The views were very good, the staff kind, and the spa and pools were amazing, with indoor and outdoor pools plus a whirlpool. The weekend food wasn't as good as it had been during the week, almost as if the chef was taking a break :D. The room layout was odd: a small wall separated the other double bed and blocked the TV, and there wasn't enough room for four suitcases and a couple of bags.

The staff were the standout for me. They were outstanding and made the whole stay a pleasure. The hotel is expensive, the sort of place that charges €4 for tap water, but the location, hotel quality, and service make it feel just about worth the cost. It's a two-minute walk from the slopes, with a very good four-to-five-course dinner included, a quality breakfast, and even cakes in the afternoon. The spa and games room were excellent, and the underground parking was a bonus. We had two rooms, though one really needed updating despite being presented as an upgrade, so check which room you're being offered.

We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely visit. The hotel's Alpine charm, delicious food, and excellent wine selection all added to it. The location in the heart of the Alps was fantastic, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to the bartender from Croatia for the warm hospitality. Our modern room had a great bathroom, especially the shower, which was a highlight. The Summer Card was a nice bonus, with access to local attractions and transport. The textile-free sauna was disappointing. It looked worn, and the loungers weren't comfortable, as if that part of the spa had seen better days. There were two saunas, one where swimwear was allowed and one textile-free, which is the one we used. A few guests still came into the textile-free sauna in swimsuits despite the clearly marked swimwear area. It would be good if everyone followed the rules out of respect for others.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented every day, honestly at Michelin standard. It worked for adults, children, and vegetarians alike, and the dining staff and cleaners were wonderfully kind and helpful. The traditional Austrian decor came with all the modern comforts, and everything was immaculately clean. The rooms were gorgeous, the indoor and outdoor pools were amazing, and there was a games area for kids and the young at heart. You're very close to the slopes, with ski-up access when there's snow or a two-minute walk otherwise, plus access to two different lifts and more across this fantastic resort. I can't recommend it enough and hope I can visit again. Thank you for a great experience. X

The staff are what set this hotel apart. They made us feel at home, were funny and entertaining as well as professional, and I'll remember Peter's incredibly dry sense of humor. The chef's creative cooking was a highlight of my holiday. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner all exceeded expectations, and the food was a big part of what people talked about at the tables. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and everything was exceptionally clean and worked well, including the extractor fans and hot water. There was plenty of bathroom space for toiletries. The hotel Austria deserves its 4.5 stars, with a roomy heated ski locker and very convenient slope access. They were also happy to give us extra time in the room at the end of our stay. We'll definitely return with family and recommend the hotel and resort. We've booked through Sunweb several times, and they've always been professional and reliable.
