The wellness area on the top floor was amazing, with a 360-degree view of the village and mountains. We’d wake up to those breathtaking mountain and ski slope views, then head straight onto the slopes for a full day of great skiing. In the evening we could relax in the wellness area and enjoy a delicious three-course dinner. We first came across VAYA Resorts on holiday in Ischgl and hoped we’d get to stay there ourselves one day. When we planned a ski holiday in Sölden, we booked VAYA straight away. We were warmly welcomed from the start, and had a wonderfully spacious room with a bathtub, shower, and large balcony. Breakfast was generous and well taken care of, a great start to each day. It was a truly relaxing ski holiday, just as it should be. We’d love to come back.

Solden is smaller than you might expect, and the hotel is well placed in town. The lifts are easy to reach, either by bus or on foot. Staff were really friendly and helpful, so we felt very welcome, and the food was good with plenty of variety. It’s a pity there’s no swimming pool, and the bar area is a bit small.

The rib-eye was cooked just right and brought out with a smile. We had a delicious meal at VAYA Bar & Grill, in a cozy, inviting setting. The service was professional and friendly, which made the whole visit even better. If you’re wondering where to eat in Sölden, I’d happily recommend it and return myself.

The staff handled it really well when I accidentally broke a glass of red wine, and cleaned it up quickly. We had dinner at Vaya Sölden, where the restaurant was clean, the ambience just right, and the staff polite and professional. We ordered beef tartare, ribeye steak, and lava cake, and the food was amazing. Totally worth it, I sincerely recommend it!

I can’t recommend the hotel. The equipment looks beautiful, but it’s already worn, such as the mattresses. My main concerns were the food and the service. Breakfast was poor, and dinner was especially low quality and not very good. Room cleaning, breakfast, and dinner service all felt rather punk in style. I’d expect more from a four-star hotel.
