Haus Martinshof

We’ve stayed here twice over the past few years, and each time the family has made us feel so welcome. Everyone enjoyed breakfast, and we’re already hoping to return soon.

Having a supermarket just a minute away and ski hire around the corner made things easy, with the ski school and lift right across from the Martinshof. We also made good use of the little sauna area every day, with its 90-degree sauna and steam room. Breakfast had what we needed, including a different small selection of cold cuts each day and homemade jams. Our room was cleaned daily and had lots of space and storage. The wood-heavy Alpine-style furnishings aren't modern, and the beds were a little firm for us, though still comfortable. We had a really good stay. If you want to cook in the evenings, the rooms with kitchens are the best option, especially since there aren't many affordable places in town.

Breakfast was generous and our room had everything well provided for. Run by the Pixner family, this B&B is also well placed for skiing in Obergurgl, with the Wiesenlift or ski bus giving direct access to the ski area. It has all the amenities needed for a good holiday.

From the guesthouse in central Obergurgl, there are plenty of hikes to set off on. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and the room was more than adequate, with a very comfortable bed. It was clean and tidy throughout. Breakfast was plentiful, especially enjoyed the homemade jams. I'd happily come back.
