The best hike we did was walking back down to the apartment after visiting the (pricey!) 007 museum. We took the first cable car up and had both the summit and exhibition to ourselves. We were a Dutch family of five, with kids aged 12, 10 and 7, spending summer 2021 in Austria because we love the mountains. We stayed in three holiday homes around the country, and the final one, in Solden at @HEART Manufacture, was the most spectacular. The apartment was beautiful, modern and really comfortable. The kids especially loved the James Bond room and swing chair. Katrine, the flexible and lovely apartment caretaker, made us feel welcome, and her two dogs were amazing. Solden is a great place to explore in summer, too.

We stayed here in March 2026 and had a great time. The apartment was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in, with good bedrooms, bathrooms and living room. Its location made it easy to strap on our snowboards right outside and head down to the gondola. There’s also a great restaurant and a few après-ski spots next door, so everything is close. The host was very helpful and the whole stay went smoothly.

Every room has a picture-like mountain view, even from the freestanding bathtub. We found the place beautifully clean, stylish and fully equipped, with lovely bathrooms, a sauna and a ski cellar. Tradition and modern design come together throughout. We felt warmly welcomed from the first minute. Although we booked at short notice, everything was organized perfectly. The rooms are all high quality, and a helpful staff member is on hand if anything is needed. Everything about the stay felt like a dream.
