Haus Gurgl Skihotel

The ski room is on the ground floor and has big lockers. We could ski almost all the way to the door, and the lift is a three-minute glide down a gentle slope. There’s also a bus stop right outside. The hotel was lovely, spotless, modern and immaculate throughout, with friendly staff, great food, and an awesome spa with several saunas and rooms.

The food was really good, from breakfast through the evening meal, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the rest of the hotel was just as well kept. The service and staff were brilliant, and it’s in a good location. My only suggestion would be adding a hot tub to the spa. Otherwise, I can’t fault it.

The location is great, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. The girls in the restaurant were so kind, and Erik was helpful and friendly. I’ll visit again.

The ski setup made things easy: there’s a bus stop right outside, ski school just behind the hotel, a Riml ski shop attached for rentals, and a heated boot room that’s spacious and clean. There’s also a small supermarket about 100 yards down the street. The staff were warm and looked after us so well. For my partner’s big birthday, they decorated our table and gave him a card and chocolates, such a nice touch. The hotel is in a great spot, spotless, and the food is excellent. Our room was comfortable, a decent size, and had plenty of storage, plus a generous bathroom. It was handy to get UK channels on the TV. There is a kettle, but no tea or coffee supplied, so bring your own. We kept a carton of milk on the balcony. Highly recommend it.
