We had a great stay and hope to return. The location is spot on, about a three minute walk to the Giggijoch. The service was very accommodating, and our room was amazing value. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Austria, with plenty of choice and lots of homemade treats. The sauna and spa feel like something from a 5-star hotel.

We stayed for three nights last week at this lovely little hotel, near the quieter edge of town. The Giggijochbahn gondola was easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was included and had a really nice spread: coffee and tea, juice, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, granola and other cereals, plus fresh bread. There’s a ski storage room for boots and skis, and an honor bar stocked with beer and other drinks. We didn’t try the sauna. Parking was included, but as it was a busy weekend we had to use spaces a short walk away.

This was our second ten-day summer holiday here, and both stays were wonderful. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is great and dinner is amazing. From day one, we felt welcome and at home. They’re also eager to share excellent MTB and hiking tips. We’ll definitely come back.

Carinthia’s proprietor really knows the local trails and skiing, and the rooms have been updated. The dinners are outstanding and prepared on site, and breakfast is complete too. Wonderful stay!
