On our E5 route, this was the best place we stayed. The bathrooms and rooms were clean, and having a hot shower made such a difference. The hosts were lovely, friendly, and always available. It was a really nice stay, whether for one night or a few.

It smelled like a fish market, and what we got didn't match our reservation: we booked two rooms but had one room with a bunk bed in a shared room next door. It feels more like a hostel. The owners were the best part, very welcoming and friendly, and they keep the place really clean.

A good-quality bergsteigerhotel with very kind people running it, and the breakfast was very good too. It would be an ideal base to acclimatize before glacier tours.

I was ill during my visit, and they were incredibly helpful, even showing me around. It's a very nice guest house and they couldn't have been more accommodating.
