It was easy to get to either of the town’s two main ski lifts from our apartment, and at the end of the day we could ski down behind the property. We were a family of four on our first week of skiing, and Stefanie made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and well maintained. We were also close to restaurants, a mini-mart, several ski shops, and the ski school, with the bus stop for Hochgurgl just down on the main road. We had a great time and would recommend it!

Haus Verwall is family-run, and the owners clearly take pride in the place and the service. Everything was perfect, with the kind of attention big hotels can’t come close to matching, 5*. The host is wonderful, always happy to help. Recent renovations have made it more modern and luxurious, and the location is great for skiing, right by the ski school and lifts.

The apartments are modern and centrally located beside the slopes. Service was very friendly and good, and the breakfast menu was lovely.
