The apartment was comfortable, clean, and stocked with a full set of kitchen equipment. Its large terrace looks out over the lake and mountains, a lovely spot for coffee or a meal. The hosts were very welcoming, and the house sits right on the Wolfgang Sea beach. Breakfast is available if you add it to your booking, and there’s parking in the yard.

We only stayed one night, but my friend and I loved the cozy place and the lake view from our room. The owner was so sweet and welcoming, and breakfast was really good, with everything feeling authentic and thoughtfully done. The radiator in our room wasn’t working very well, though we didn’t ask about it. There was no shampoo or soap in the bathroom, but the owner brought some when we asked. We’d definitely come back.

The views are beautiful, and the water is sky blue. There’s a free grassy beach by the lake with a bathroom and changing room, and as far as I could tell, parking is free too. The 150 bus from Salzburg stops nearby, though it’s about a 300-meter walk from the stop. There’s also a restaurant around the corner. Fantastic!

We spent two nights here in December during Advent, and it’s the best place we’ve stayed so far. The rooms were the cleanest, the host was awesome, and both the place and breakfast were super. St Giligan, Strobl, and St Wolfgang are all close by. Best, best, best!
