The rooms are quite large, and each has a balcony with a nice view. The bathroom was roomy and comfortable too. Staff were friendly and quick to respond, and the restaurant offered a wide range of dishes.

We stayed here a few years ago, and the whole visit was a mess. The owner was untidy and arrogant, and our room didn't even have a fridge. We had been told we could bring our dog, but once we arrived, he said he hadn't meant it that way. He looked at our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog with disgust. I’d recommend avoiding this place as much as possible.

We stayed here ten years ago and found the staff unfriendly and rude. A few days ago, we came back for lunch for personal reasons tied to the past, and regretted it. The waiter, manager, or whoever he was, was rude and uninterested. Then an Austrian woman hit our parked car in the lot. The waiter yelled at us and swore at us to move the cars before the police arrived, because “no one was injured.” It was the worst experience we’ve had in many years of visiting Austria. Based on both visits, I’d give this place zero if Google allowed it, but I have to give it one.

I had dinner at the restaurant with my dog, who was welcome inside. The staff did their best to make him comfortable in the spot they set aside for him. They were tiptop, really friendly and helpful, even though they seemed quite busy that evening. I would have done better with an English menu, though.
