The balcony overlooking the village was a lovely surprise, and my room and bathroom were spotless and well equipped. I had a great two-day stay in one of the prettiest towns in the region. The owner was so helpful, sharing maps and ideas for nearby sights and activities. He even carried my heavy bag up to the second floor, and it was waiting in my room after a long day of hiking. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Since I had an early bus on checkout day, they kindly prepared a limited breakfast for me early. The hotel is about a 5-6 minute walk from the bus stop and 7-10 minutes from the boat pier in St. Gilgen. I'll choose it again on my next visit.

The owner made breakfast while humming and served freshly boiled eggs. That little touch made his warm hospitality especially clear. Breakfast itself was simple and really delicious, and I had a fantastic vacation here. He also carried our heavy bags up to the third floor when we checked in, and arranged an early breakfast because of our train on checkout day. The bathroom was renovated and clean. I could explore the village comfortably on the bike they lent me. It's easy to book, and you can get answers to questions by email. It was cheaper than similar nearby accommodation, and only a 5-6 minute walk from the bus stop. I'll stay here again on my next vacation. Take care, and see you next time.

The hosts were great and quick to respond. St. Gilgen was pretty quiet during our May visit, so finding the place and getting parking were easy, and we enjoyed walking the quiet streets at night. The room was nice and fit four of us, but there was just one bathroom, inside the main bedroom. That could make it difficult for the others to use while someone was sleeping. Breakfast seemed pricey at 15 euros per person, I think, so we picked up breakfast at a convenience store as we drove out each morning.

In surroundings of Mozartian beauty, this is highly recommendable accommodation. I doubt even Kaiser Franz Joseph could have found fault with the breakfast.

The owners are really nice, and breakfast is well prepared, with fresh cake every day and great coffee. It's a lovely place to relax, close to both the lake and the town centre 🙃🙏🙂
