The living room had a lovely view over the lake, and fast Wi-Fi made it a great place for me to work for a few days. We also had everything we needed in the kitchen to make lunch. We booked the top-floor apartment through Airbnb, in an alpine villa right by Lake Wolfgang, with distinctive vintage furniture and a beautiful wooden staircase. It was easy to go for a swim. Our host was so kind and helpful, always ready to answer questions and suggest hiking trails. Her tips led us to some amazing spots. Maybe we’ll cross paths again someday!

The apartment was comfortable and very well equipped. The villa sits right beside Wolfgangsee, and the town centre is just a short walk away. The cycling and hiking path is right there too. A really nice place to stay, highly recommended.

Creaky wooden floors, antique doors, and an old bathroom that’s still clean and well maintained give this villa a lot of character. It’s a charming change from modern hotels, and beautifully preserved places like this are hard to find now. The lake view is breathtaking, and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended. Stay a night or two.
