Pension Forsthof

We’ve just had a week at Forsthof, a beautiful, cosy hotel. There were four of us. The rooms were fab, the beds comfortable, and the pillows felt luxurious. Breakfast and dinner were both absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Hello to anyone planning to stay at this house. I’m Sofia, and I was there in early October. We really enjoyed the place, but during our stay I suffered a personal loss: I accidentally left behind a stuffed toy I’d had for 15 years. I got it when I was 12, and it has travelled with me through happy and difficult times. I asked the hosts several times to look for it, but they refused. First they said they hadn’t found it, then later admitted they hadn’t checked. I was in tears and only asked them to take a look. I would have arranged to get it back myself, even by post, but sadly they stopped answering my calls. It may seem like just a toy to someone else, but it means a lot to me, as a reminder of my childhood and life’s journey. If you’re staying there, could you please ask the hosts about it? I’ve attached a photo. It may still be somewhere around the house, perhaps overlooked. If you’re able to take it with you and contact me, I’d be incredibly grateful. The owners and staff were friendly, and there was free parking right out front. This cosy mountain bed and breakfast has a great view down the valley. My room was clean and tidy, with a small balcony and enough space for two. The bathroom was very modern, though there wasn’t really anywhere to put shower gel. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of cold options.

We stayed two nights and had a lovely time, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The rooms had a cosy, cabin-like feel, and breakfast had everything needed to start the day. The only small downside was the shower light sensor. It wasn’t positioned well and kept switching the light off every couple of minutes, so I had to move to the other side of the shower wall to turn it back on.
