Sonnhof Alpendorf - an adults only place

I had a full body massage and booked Sonnhof's deluxe day spa package, with breakfast and eight hours in the wellness facilities. It was such a relaxing, pampering day, and the staff were friendly and very attentive. They also catered especially well for vegans, which was a treat. The facilities were first class, and the new onsen was fantastic. A great way to recharge after skiing. I'd definitely recommend it, 10/10 worth every cent!

We were lucky to have a quiet spell, and really enjoyed the pools and spa. We also tried the Igloo, which was a special, private experience. The food was delicious every evening, and the service was so attentive. Everyone made us feel welcome. We had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend it.

As a young couple, we spent three nights at Sonnhof and left delighted. The meals were a real highlight, with elegant, delicious dishes made each day using top-quality local suppliers. The new spa felt peaceful and relaxing, with modern design, and the hotel was spotless and welcoming. Service was flawless and every detail seemed carefully handled. I'd suggest booking a south-facing room for those breathtaking views that stay with you after the trip.

We spent two nights here in mid-October and wished we'd booked longer. The staff were very friendly, and the interior felt new and thoughtfully designed. Our restaurant table was reserved for the whole stay, so we didn't need to book separately when we wanted dinner there. Breakfast was amazing, with eggs and pancakes made for you. There were lots of choices on the à la carte dinner menu, and everything we tried was great. The spa takes up a large floor, with heated indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel was just perfect. It's a short drive from several national parks and landmarks. Our room was on the slope, which I'm guessing would make this a great ski holiday spot in winter.
