The quiet setting and mountain views made this a great base for skiing. The bus stop is close by, and the ride to the ski lift takes about a minute. There’s a well-stocked kitchen, two toilets, two showers, and heaters for ski boots. Kids can go see the animals downstairs, and there’s a food store in St.Johann.

The owners were so kind and easy to reach whenever we had a question. On New Year’s Eve, they even stopped by with a bottle of bubbly and a greeting for the new year. The apartments at Oberstockerhof were spacious, well cared for, and had everything we needed. Alpendorf and the ski lift are about a 10-minute walk away, while St. Johann and other villages are easy to get to by car. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

Rosi and Helmut were welcoming hosts, and the house has a lovely view. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped. It’s a short drive to St. Johann city center, and the ski lift is within walking distance. For families in summer, there’s a pool, trampoline, swings, alpacas, and other farm animals you can pet and feed.

We’ve never been this happy with a five-star stay. The host was friendly, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was comfortable for our family of five children, and the location was ideal. If we come back to the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Easily the best place we’ve been to, and highly recommended.

Lovely spot and great hosts. The alpacas are adorable. Definitely recommend 😊
