The staff were lovely and the service was great. We really appreciated how carefully everything had been thought through, from the well-equipped kitchen and apartment design to the beautiful flowers. And that view from the apartment, in such a magical place, was amazing. Thanks again 💕

The village setting and the atmosphere in the “Gaststube” are hard to forget. Gasthaus Krenn feels like a traditional Austrian Gasthaus with a touch of high-end sophistication, and to me it’s one of the standouts in the Tauroa collection, perhaps the best because it feels so different from the others. The team, especially Ottmar “Ottl”, make the place warm and welcoming while keeping things effortlessly elegant. That feels a long way from a standardized chain experience, though I don’t mean that as a criticism of the other venues, each has its own strengths. The food is exceptional. I’ve tried lots of dishes, from starters and soups through mains and desserts, and the care and flavor have me looking forward to each new one. Even the assortment of breads is a highlight every time. Bravo to the whole team 👏👏👏! A tapas bar would be a lovely addition to the village! This review is for the restaurant. We had room 7, and you should get it too. Beautiful design, wonderfully managed, and a magical setting. We’ll be back!

Everything felt perfectly arranged. Breakfast was brought up to our guesthouse each morning, and we went to the restaurant for dinner. The apartment was so well done that I couldn’t think of a single thing I’d change. Add the incredible mountain views from our hilltop guesthouse and it made for an amazing, truly luxurious stay.
