The breakfast is small, but there’s fruit, coffee, sandwiches, and pastries, which was enough for us. The sausage and meat are sliced very thinly, though. We had a comfortable bed in what turned out to be a mini apartment: a small hallway, the kitchen door on the right, and the bedroom straight ahead. Parking was available, and the hotel owner was nice.

Josephine, the owner, was especially kind, patient, and helpful. We were so happy with Pension Pichlerhof that my wife and I stayed an extra night after booking two. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh vegetables grown in the garden. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with windows and a balcony facing the view. Set above the valley, the place looks out over the river and surrounding mountains. It’s quiet, about a ten-minute drive from the nearest town, and well placed for trips between Malta and Gross Glockner. We’d gladly recommend Pichlerhof Pension and may well return.

The peaceful setting, rich breakfast, and stunning views made Pension Pichlerhof a perfect place for our Molltaler glacier ski trip. Mrs. Josefine made us feel very welcome. Just perfect.

The view is stunning and the owner is super helpful. Breakfast was good, though not great. A pleasant stay overall, I’d rate it 9/10.

The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and the location was great. Staff were very friendly, including the dog. Breakfast was great too, and you can make an omelette just the way you like it.
