The bus stops right outside, and the ski area is only about a 12-minute drive away. We spent five days here as a family of four and found the apartment spotless, roomy, and equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved their bunk beds, which were big enough for an adult too. There’s heated ski storage for boots, which was excellent. The host was very friendly and spoke good English. I’d recommend it as a place to stay for skiing.

We found the cooking setup so good that having drinks and dinner on our own terrace was an easy alternative to going out. The apartments are beautifully equipped down to the details, and Alexandra was smiling and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. The parking and elevator made the stay even more relaxing. Lechrefugium really is a pearl of the Lechtal. Living like God in Austria is possible!

For the second year in a row, we felt like we were living like gods in Austria. The fantastic accommodations helped, and Alexandra, the lady of the house, played a big part in making it such a good stay. Ann & Yannick -Belgium

We came in July and ended up wishing we could have stayed longer. There are countless hiking trails and ski options nearby, good restaurants close by, and the hanging bridge is in the next town. The Lechtal Card gave access to five lifts/bahns in the area for summer hiking and winter skiing. Alexandra welcomed us at the door and showed us the lovely apartment. It’s relatively new, from 2018, with modern fittings and nice wood accents. The kitchen had everything for cooking a full meal, the living room was spacious and comfortable, the bedroom was large with a firm bed, and there were plenty of outlets. A big balcony connects to both the living room and bedroom. The shower was roomy enough and had good pressure. Alexandra also offers a morning bread service for a small fee, with several traditional rolls to choose from. She was warm and welcoming, and although she said her English wasn’t very good, we communicated easily and her English was excellent. One small tip: although Google lists the address as “Steeg,” the building is just before town. Google may take you past it, so look for it before reaching Steeg. We’d definitely stay in Alexandra’s apartment again.

Alexandra welcomed us like friends, and she’s very friendly. We spent five days in one of the Lech Refugium apartments and had a really lovely time. The place is very nice and our apartment was clean. I can only recommend it. Greetings from Belgium
