Haus Bergfrühling

Denise and her mother-in-law were such lovely hosts, and they gave us helpful hiking tips. We also got to hike up a summit with Denise as our companion. It was a fantastic, sweaty day, thank you! There was so much more to do, but we ran out of time and would love to return. We stayed five nights at Pension Bergfrühling, right in the heart of the Lechtal Alps. The location was fantastic, with a breathtaking Alpine view from our balcony that included the local mountain. Breakfast was more than plentiful. If you visit, some of the places we especially enjoyed were the southernmost point of Germany and border marker 147, reached via the "Schrofenpass" from "Lechleiten"; taking the "Rüfikopfbahn" from "Lech" to the "Rüfikopf" at 2,350m; the Holzgau suspension bridge; and walking along the "Lech" river to stand right under the waterfall. The Warth ski area, with its connection to Lech, is about a 15-minute drive away. This is a lovely guest house with tasty breakfast, a simple but nice room, a good shower, and reasonable prices. Definitely a good place to stay for either a ski trip or a hiking holiday.

The valley view was beautiful, and the rooms were great. The landlady was nice too.
