Thermenhotel PuchasPLUS

The owner was so nice, and he came over to talk with me and even gave me a bottle of wine. The staff were friendly too. I stayed for three nights and had an awesome time at the hotel. Breakfast had lots of different choices, and there are both outdoor and indoor swimming pools. They can also arrange something if you want to mark a special date.

Our experience was really poor. The reservation for the “Feinschmecker Packet” was canceled every time. Whenever I returned to the room, there was another note saying something or other wasn’t working. I got to the point where I dreaded going back and finding yet another one. The carpets were also extremely dirty and stained. Sadly, I can’t recommend the place.

This felt unbelievably bad and untrustworthy. I received a debt collector’s letter demanding payment within three days for something I had never ordered. It seems to concern a Gurchein that I never agreed to pay for. I asked the workers many times in English whether payment was required, and they confirmed it wasn’t. If there really was an obligation to pay, that behavior would be fraudulent. After the letter arrived, I tried to reach the hotel administration. The finance manager wasn’t in, and I was told to call again tomorrow. Today, I spoke with hotel staff on four occasions between 9 and 16:30. Each time, I was told they’d remind the person in finance to call me. On my last call at 16:45, I was told the only person who could help had left the office without responding, and that I should try again tomorrow. It all looks like a scam to take money from people after misleading them and then ignoring them.

We’ve been coming to Stegersbach for 14 years in a row, and we’re disappointed with the dinner this hotel serves. It’s worse than the lunch menu at the therme: carrot and cucumber salad, potato salad, drumsticks, rice, and fries. What is this? For a four-star hotel, it’s a shame.
