We only booked one night and ended up wishing we could stay longer. Breakfast was a highlight, with eggs made fresh and plenty to choose from on the buffet. Our room, the “Family Residence,” had a modern bathroom, kitchenette and comfortable furniture, all nicely renovated within the historic building. We also enjoyed the balcony view. There’s a room for kids with books, games and a large tablet-style game table, plus board games you can borrow. The bar has a good selection, and the owner who runs it had great drink suggestions. A really lovely family-run hotel.

The owner and his family were so nice, and the staff were helpful. The food was superb, too. It’s right by the ski area and the bus stop. Fantastic place!!!!

The location made it easy to explore the area, and the car parks are free and secure. I found the rooms clean and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks especially to the hotel manager and owner, Mr. Franz. I had a relaxing stay at Aktiv Hotel zur Rose and would happily return.

A very good base for skiing or a trip to Insbruck with Bożena.
