We were comfortable here for a whole week. It was spotless, clean, and in a lovely location, with good value for money. Breakfast stood out: carefully prepared and absolutely delicious.

Getting around by bus is difficult, so in bad weather you can feel a bit stuck. The view, though, is stunning, and the price is good for what you get. The lady of the house always does her best to make guests happy. The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate, but the bed could be more comfortable since it gave me back pain. There’s plenty of information about the area, which is a nice touch, though almost all the promotional material is from 2023 and feels outdated. It also might help to mark the parking space in front of the house. The place has a bit of a step-back-in-time feel.

Breakfast was delicious, with something different each day. The house has lovely views and a beautiful setting in a small village about 10 km from Achenkirch. Hiking trails are close by, including routes to the Rofan and Guffert peaks. Two restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk away.

The views are beautiful, and we found the family atmosphere and delicious food really relaxing. It’s a unique, cozy wooden house and exactly the peaceful break we wanted. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The hostess was lovely. For the location, view, and service, I think it’s very good value. I’d recommend it to anyone.
