Stadthotel Styria

It’s 1 am, and the loud music is shaking the hotel even with the windows closed in winter. There’s no answer from reception. You won’t be able to sleep.

We had a comfortable, immaculate room that was spacious, quiet, and nicely presented. The surroundings and location were great, and we loved the service in the Level Lounge. The staff helped and looked after us from booking through checkout, going above and beyond to make the visit memorable. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it.

The sauna is the only photo I’ll share. The architecture, room, breakfast room, lobby, and all the little details gave me so many wow moments and made me smile. Professional staff, varied food and drinks, beautiful dishes, lighting, flowers, and decorations made my weekend getaway. Thanks for the service. I’ll definitely be back again and again. See you!

The bed made a horrible noise whenever I sat on it, and the old furniture seemed poorly maintained. The duvet was dirty and stained, and smelled bad. The pillows were extremely soft, with almost no filling left. Breakfast was okay, but my room had been booked without it by mistake, so I was charged extra at the end. They charged €1.50 per serving for the coffee machine in the room, bringing that bill to €45, without telling me the cost when I asked for it. The sauna was €20 per person. Be careful, they’ll charge you for everything, as if they’re trying to make money out of thin air. It’s expensive.
