The food was excellent and local, and Laura deserves a special mention for making our stay 10/10. The staff were awesome and went out of their way to help us. It’s a great place to eat and sleep, less than 20 minutes from St. Anton. Staying at the hotel gets you free bus travel, though you pay for the night bus. If you’re after an authentic local place with amazing staff, this is it. Thanks for making our weekend so special. I’ll be back.

After a ski tour, we stopped in for beer and french fries and really enjoyed both. The atmosphere was nice.

The location worked out fine for us, and in theory there’s a bus to St Anton every hour. Our room was roomy and warm, with good mattresses. Everyone we met, from reception to the bar and restaurant, was kind, professional, and really helpful. We had a good stay and would come back.

6/10
The half board was disappointing. I only got a choice after demanding one, and the staff seemed so overworked that I felt more like a nuisance than a guest. The welcome at reception was super warm, though, and the room was fantastic for the price: very large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was OK too, with a cheerful, genuine guy on hand if you needed anything.

We ate at the restaurant almost every evening, and it was quite good. The sauna area was a great place to unwind after skiing, and we were given a warm welcome. St Anton is a 20-minute drive away, Ischgl takes 30 minutes, and Lech nearly 40.
