They can improvise some really delicious meals for vegetarians, too. The service and the food were both five-star. We highly recommend it!

The final bill was almost €200 more than our original booking, so we left a day early. We were charged quite a lot for the room's kettle, even though it didn't work. We'd emailed to ask whether there'd be a fridge and electric kettle, but got no reply. There was a fridge, at least, and they could have told us about the extra charge beforehand. The €90 dog fee also felt like too much. We stayed at the beginning of August. The location was lovely, surrounded by nature and lots of animals, and breakfast was good and plentiful. But our room had a dusty red carpet and was separated from the next room only by a door, so there was no privacy. I might not have minded the charges as much in a luxury room.

The setting is a real treat, with goats, deers, ducks, birds and many other animals that seem to be cared for with a lot of love. Breakfast has a nice range of good-quality food, and everything in the guest areas was shiny clean. Our room was spotless too. The staff at this family-run hotel are clearly handpicked, very polite and always willing to help. Honestly, I'd give it a four-star hotel rating. It's a lovely place for young and old, couples, families, or even solo travellers. We're delighted and would absolutely recommend coming back.

The views are breathtaking, and the hotel is in a peaceful spot that works well for families and couples. There are several clearly marked hiking trails nearby for all levels. One thing that could be improved is the road lighting on the way up the mountain at night. The place was very clean and well looked after. Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but it was fresh, delicious and high quality. The team really made our stay: everyone was kind, helpful and smiling. A big thank you to all of them. When we arrived, the staff had finished for the day, but they'd left our key, a welcome note and all the information we needed at reception. It was thoughtful and well organized.
