The staff were friendly and helpful, and the historical area is beautiful. The other rooms looked well maintained. My room was clean and standard, as was the breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner were buffets too, a bit like a school boarding school, though the food tasted good. Almost everything came with an extra charge, which got a little annoying. A spa stay in a castle with a park, right on Lake Wolfgang, is hard to beat. I can't speak to the spa treatments themselves since I was only a hotel guest, but from conversations I gathered that people were satisfied.

Yoga is now offered in the afternoon during free time, and I was already looking forward to coming back. Thanks, too, for the wonderful new rooms! After three active, calorie-reduced, healthy and energizing weeks in Strobl, I feel recharged and have plenty to take into everyday and professional life. I'm grateful for the useful tips from the therapists, doctors, dieticians and psychologists. The program is clearly taken seriously and put into practice here. Daily exercise feels manageable, you feel better, and healthier eating is achievable. Many thanks to the whole team. I'll definitely return to Strobl for the GVA program.
