I can't recommend this place. The room was clean and fine for our two-night stay, and the towels smelled musty, but we had our own, so that didn't bother us. We thought breakfast was poor and the food a bit tired, though everyone has their own idea of a good breakfast. What changed things for us was the beer. After a day trip on our first day, our friend noticed one can was missing, but we didn't do anything about it. On the second morning, there were four bottles on the windowsill before breakfast, and only two when we got back. The owner said someone must have come in through the closed balcony door and claimed she was the only one with a key. She didn't make things worse in the moment. Later, we checked Booking, Google and Tripadvisor reviews and found that we weren't the first to report this, and that other reviewers said the owner took alcohol. It's sad if the owner has a problem with alcohol, but guests shouldn't have their things taken. Alexandra, please don't say this isn't your place, as usual.

The location is nicely situated, but think carefully before booking. Similar views and setups are available at many pensions in Austria, so I'd look elsewhere unless you're willing to risk losing your belongings or alcohol. I was the only guest, and someone took a bottle of wine from my room while I was out one afternoon. They went through my things and took what they wanted. I was shocked, and it mentally ruined the second day of my vacation. It took me a few more days to process how someone could act like that. These people steal without remorse. Clearly alcoholic. If you're reading this, you're already better informed than I was. Good luck with your vacation.
