We slept very well because the rooms weren't noisy, though with the balcony door open the cowbells could wake us at 7 a.m. The rooms are a bit dated, but our bathroom had been partly renovated, and small problems in the room were fixed quickly and efficiently. We got a very warm welcome after the hotel was recommended to us, and felt at home right away. The restaurant staff were attentive and keen to meet our requests. Breakfast was a little limited but good, with fresh food attractively presented. Dinner, which was part of our half-board package, was good, freshly prepared, and varied. We'll definitely stay again.

The half-board food was really good, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly. The furniture in the rooms is definitely dated, but everything was clean, and the bed linen and towels were perfectly fine. Good value overall.

That bed was just what we needed after long days in the mountains, and it was comfortable. The staff made us feel especially welcome, always checking in and offering helpful ideas for excursions. Breakfast was generous, with excellent rolls, though we didn't eat dinner there. The online listing still mentions à la carte dining, but that restaurant is no longer available. We skipped the sauna. The decor is somewhat dated, and a few renovated rooms could use a bit of paint, but everything was clean and tidy. Our room was spacious, with a walk-in shower, underfloor heating, and a mountain view. I rarely feel this at ease in a hotel.

The location works really well for getting to the nearby hiking areas. The hotel itself felt impersonal, though, since we only saw three people. Two took turns at reception and in the office but didn't interact with guests. The person in the breakfast room was very friendly, but seemed completely overwhelmed. The internet didn't work at all, and they were stingy with the toilet paper.
